Kasper Hjulmand Set To Become New Bayer Leverkusen Coach

Former Denmark national team coach Kasper Hjulmand is set to be appointed as the new head coach of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that a full agreement has been reached, with his signature “Here We Go” signalling the deal is complete.
Talks between the two parties had intensified in recent days, with Hjulmand emerging as the clear favourite after holding advanced discussions with Leverkusen officials. The Bundesliga champions moved quickly to secure his services following the departure of Erik ten Hag.
Hjulmand has earned recognition for his tactical acumen and leadership, having guided Denmark to the semi-finals of Euro 2020 and overseen a competitive World Cup campaign. His move marks a return to club management after several years at the international level.
An official announcement from Leverkusen is expected shortly. Hjulmand’s arrival is seen as a major boost for the club, who are aiming to build on their recent success and continue competing at the top level both domestically and in Europe.
