Pep Guardiola has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for February 2026 after guiding Manchester City through an unbeaten run during the month.
Guardiola secured the accolade following a strong spell in which City produced consistent performances in the Premier League. His side collected four wins and one draw across five league matches, maintaining momentum in the title race.
The month began with a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, a match that saw City surrender a two-goal lead. However, Guardiola’s team quickly bounced back and responded with four consecutive victories to close the month on a high.
Among the standout results was an important win away to Liverpool FC at Anfield, a result that strengthened City’s ambitions near the top of the table. Further victories followed against Fulham FC and Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium.
City wrapped up the month with another away victory against Leeds United, completing an impressive unbeaten stretch that delivered 13 points from a possible 15.
The award marks Guardiola’s first Manager of the Month honour since December 2021, ending a long wait for the recognition despite continued success in English football.
It is also the 12th time Guardiola has won the monthly managerial award, further cementing his status as one of the most successful and influential coaches in the history of the Premier League.
