Manchester United Manager Erik ten Hag has told his team, it is up to them to make up for Casemiro’s absence when they take on League leaders Arsenal on Sunday at Emirates Stadium.

He was addressing the uncertainty whether United could get the better of Arsenal without the talisman, reminding everyone his side was able to beat them without Casemiro.

"Last time we beat Arsenal without Casemiro," said Ten Hag.

‘’Casemiro is obviously a really important player for us and he is one of the reasons that we are in the position that we are now.

"We have a squad and we have to fill that gap and make a proper plan and the squad has to fill it. As a team, we already showed how to beat Arsenal."

Casemiro picked up a yellow card with ten minutes to go, for a foul on Wilfried Zaha, his fifth booking of the campaign, which results in a one-match suspension.

The red devils missed the opportunity to move to second in the Premier League, after a stunning late Free-kick from Olise settled a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Bruno Fernandez scored an early goal before half-time but united lacked momentum and Crystal palace applied pressure scoring late in the second half.

Manchester United’s lack of dominance had Goalkeeper David De Gea tested and he made outstanding saves from Odsonne Edouard and Marc Guehi, denying Palace the lead.

United were headed for a sixth consecutive Premier league win and potentially close the gap to Arsenal to six points.
