Arsenal’s squad has entered the Champions League final in a heightened state of belief following their Premier League title success, with players and staff convinced the domestic breakthrough has reinforced their ability to compete at the highest European level.

The North London club secured the league crown after a strong and consistent season under manager Mikel Arteta, ending a long domestic wait and completing a campaign widely viewed as a turning point in the club’s modern rebuild.

That achievement has had a clear psychological impact inside the dressing room, with senior players viewing the league win as validation of their system, tactical discipline, and ability to perform under sustained pressure across multiple competitions.

With the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain approaching in Budapest, sources around the squad indicate a strong internal belief that Arsenal now possess both the structure and mentality required to secure a first European crown.

Manager Mikel Arteta has repeatedly emphasized collective focus rather than momentum alone, but privately the squad is understood to be buoyed by the sense that they have already overcome the biggest domestic test of the season.

Club leadership has also reinforced a long-term winning mindset, with ownership figures stressing continued ambition regardless of domestic success, framing the campaign as part of a broader push to establish sustained European competitiveness.

Analytical models and external projections have placed Arsenal among the leading contenders for the Champions League, reflecting their defensive stability, midfield control, and improved efficiency in decisive matches.

Former players and pundits have also noted that winning the Premier League has eased some of the pressure on the squad, allowing them to approach the European final with reduced anxiety and increased freedom in their tactical execution.

Despite that confidence, Arsenal are still expected to face a demanding challenge against PSG, whose attacking depth and recent European experience make them one of the most formidable opponents in the competition.

Even so, the prevailing mood within the Arsenal camp remains optimistic, with belief growing that their domestic triumph has not only ended a long wait for silverware but also positioned them to complete a historic double at European level.

Piero Hincapié: “I’m really happy, so happy about everything we’re going through, honestly, both as a club and on a personal level. (Winning the Premier League) was a really wonderful experience. The fans are thrilled, and well, it’s all for them too.”

Piero Hincapié: “I do think I’ve won people over a bit, but I really try to show them on the pitch so they can relate, that I’m fighting for this jersey and giving it my all. And well, winning lots of titles. That’s what the fans want.” [CBS]

Kai Havertz on the #UCL final: “I cannot wait to play that game and bring the trophy home to North London. We are going to go on the pitch and are going to beat them.”

Kai Havertz on if Arsenal are seen as underdogs against PSG: “I don’t even think about that, to be fair. I just feel like PSG won it last year, so they were probably the best team in Europe last year. They have had an unbelievable season again.

“For us, in general, it is the second time the club has made it to the final, but we have so much confidence. We have been fighting on the highest level for a couple of years now and we have finally won the Premier League.

“I think that gives us a big boost as well. We are going to see anyway, it doesn’t matter if you are an underdog or whatever.

“We are going to go on the pitch and are going to beat them. So, go for it.”

Kai Havertz on the impact that Mikel Arteta has had on him: “Very, very big one for me personally. He was the one who brought me to the club and he taught me on the pitch so much stuff and off the pitch as well. I think for me personally, I’m very thankful for that time, how he helped me a lot when I had difficult moments.“

Eberechi Eze ahead of the #UCL final: “I feel like the main feeling has just been joy and excitement for the opportunity that we've got because the trophy doesn't belong to us. It's not ours. So there’s no pressure to need it, but it's the joy of the opportunity that we've got to actually go there and take it.

“And we believe that we've got more than enough to go and do it. We've worked so hard the whole season, and there's so much that we've been through to get here. So yeah, one last game.” [CBS]

Myles Lewis-Skelly on what the #UCL final means: “For us to complete that, to get over that jump, that’ll be something. I have no words for that because the club has never done that before.

“To potentially become the first Arsenal team ever to win a Champions League, that’s something that dreams are made of. And I feel this team here, the synergy, the connection that we have together, is something that we cherish so strongly.

“And I feel like that ultimately will come down to big moments, but that’s going to drive us definitely.”

Myles Lewis-Skelly on what it would mean to start or come off the bench vs PSG in the #UCL final: “For me, it’s just being part of it. Whether I’ll have a part to play or not, I’ll be grateful. I’m a big believer in preparation. So I’m prepared as if I’m going to play 120 minutes if that’s the case. I know I’m going to be ready.” [CBS]
