England Beat Andorra 2-0 in World Cup Qualifier

England extended their unbeaten run in the FIFA World Cup 2026 European qualifiers after defeating Andorra 2-0 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
The hosts were handed the lead in the 25th minute when Andorran defender C. García deflected the ball into his own net, giving England a comfortable start. Declan Rice later doubled the advantage in the 67th minute with a well-placed finish after a fine assist from Reece James, who was named Player of the Match.
England dominated possession and created the majority of chances, while Andorra struggled to trouble Jordan Pickford in goal. Late substitutions by Gareth Southgate gave game time to Morgan Rogers, Anthony Gordon, and others as England comfortably saw out the victory.
The result leaves England firmly in control of Group K, strengthening their hopes of securing early qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
