Chelsea eliminated Wrexham from the FA Cup after a dramatic 4–2 extra-time victory in their fifth-round clash at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham made a strong start and took the lead in the first half through striker Sam Smith, sending the home crowd into celebration as the underdogs threatened a major upset.
Chelsea responded before the break when Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo accidentally turned the ball into his own net, bringing the Premier League side level.

Chelsea equalised late in normal time through Josh Acheampong, forcing the match into extra time after the teams finished the 90 minutes level at 2–2.
Wrexham suffered a setback when midfielder George Dobson was shown a red card in stoppage time, leaving the hosts with ten players heading into extra time.
Chelsea took control in the additional period as Alejandro Garnacho scored to give the visitors the lead for the first time in the match.
João Pedro later sealed the victory with another goal in extra time, ensuring Chelsea progressed to the FA Cup quarter-finals and ending Wrexham’s impressive run in the competition.
