Fulham thought they had found a way back when J. King had the ball in the net, but the effort was ruled out in the 23rd minute. Despite late pressure, Marco Silva’s side could not breach Chelsea’s defence, with goalkeeper Bernd Leno—who made several key saves—earning the Player of the Match award despite finishing on the losing side.
