Carragher Calls For Tudor Exit As Tottenham Crisis Deepens

Former Jamie Carragher has called on Tottenham Hotspur to part ways with head coach Igor Tudor, warning that the club’s current trajectory leaves little room for patience.
Speaking after Tottenham’s latest setback, Carragher said the situation had reached a breaking point, stating: “I think the best option for Tottenham right now is to part ways with Igor Tudor,” as pressure mounts following a string of poor performances.
The comments came in the wake of a heavy defeat to Nottingham Forest, a result that further dragged Spurs into a relegation fight and exposed persistent tactical and defensive weaknesses under Tudor’s leadership.
Carragher did not hold back in his assessment of the team’s direction, adding: “It’s not working, and sometimes you have to be honest about that. The results and performances just aren’t good enough for a club like Tottenham.”
Tudor, who took charge earlier this year, has struggled to stabilise the squad, with Tottenham enduring a poor run that has left them dangerously close to the bottom of the Premier League table.
Criticism has also spread beyond punditry circles, with growing frustration among supporters and former players, many of whom believe the team lacks identity and consistency under the current setup.
Carragher emphasised the urgency of the situation, noting: “If they don’t act soon, they risk letting the season slip away completely. Sometimes a change gives players a lift, and Tottenham might need that now.”
Despite the mounting calls for his exit, Tudor remains in charge for now, leaving Tottenham’s leadership facing a critical decision as they battle to secure their top-flight status in the closing stages of the campaign.
