Bournemouth have reached an agreement in principle for Marco Rose to become their new head coach
AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement in principle to appoint Marco Rose as their new head coach from the 2026/27 season, signaling a major transition in the club’s technical leadership.
The German manager is set to replace Andoni Iraola, who will leave at the end of the current campaign after opting not to extend his stay, despite overseeing a period of notable progress.
Talks between Bournemouth and Rose are understood to be at an advanced stage, with only final contractual formalities remaining before an official confirmation is made by the club.
Rose has been without a managerial role since departing RB Leipzig in 2025, and has since attracted interest from several European sides before Bournemouth accelerated negotiations.
