Barcelona Want Permanent Marcus Rashford Deal Amid Transfer Fee Dispute

Barcelona are pushing to sign Marcus Rashford permanently after his impressive loan spell, but the deal faces hurdles over transfer valuation. Reports suggest the Spanish giants are prepared to pay around £25 million for the England international, far below Manchester United’s asking price.
United, under the leadership of co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, are said to value Rashford at closer to £40 million. Ratcliffe is determined not to let the forward leave cheaply, especially with the World Cup approaching and Rashford’s form at Camp Nou expected to increase his market worth.
Rashford has been central to Barcelona’s attack since arriving on loan in July and has quickly established himself as a key player. The Catalan club see him as a long-term option to bolster their frontline, with his versatility and pace fitting into Xavi’s system.
Close sources indicate that Rashford has no plans to return to Old Trafford, even if Barcelona and United cannot reach an agreement next summer. The standoff now sets the stage for tough negotiations in the months ahead, as both clubs stand firm on their valuations.
