Arsenal star undergoes surgery Arteta confirms in a Press conference today

Jurrien timber has undergone surgery earlier today and will now kiiss the last game of the season against relegation side Southampton.
The news have been revealed by Mikel Arteta in a pre-match Media conference today as I quote him.
Arteta: “Jurrien Timber had surgery on Tuesday morning on his ankle. He’s been feeling that discomfort for many, many weeks. He’s been navigating through the season with that issue and it needed to be resolved, so he’s going to be out for a while.”
“We don’t know [how long] yet. It will depend how the recovery goes. It will be weeks, but we don’t know exactly how much. Hopefully, it will be somewhere near pre-season, if everything goes well, but we don’t know yet.”
Jurrien was crucial for Arsenal prosperity this season after helping the team clinch the semi finals of the UEFA champions league where they were eliminated by French giants PSG. He deputized Benjamin White on the right back amid his injury later last year.
It is well known that Timber played almost every premier league game with an injury. This has made Arteta describe him as a player who plays for the badge.
Otherwise the time he will be out is yet to be made clear as the team hopes to start pre season training to prepare Dora huge season come August.
