Arsenal sign Norgaard from Brentford in a swift deal

Arsenal have now completed the deal for Christian Nørgaard, who is joining as a defensive midfielder from Brentford.
Today on 8th July Arsenal and Brentford both confirmed they had exchanged all documents last week for Christian Nørgaard with Arsenal expected to pay initial fee worth £10m plus £2m in add ones depending on performance.
As reported earlier the second part of medical has also been completed with contract signed and Arsenal are set to officially announce his addition to the club.
This is the third announcement after signing Kepa and Zubimendi as he is seen as a good addition to the midfield after the departure of Partey and Gorginho.
The 31 year old Denmark international has been a captain and a key payer gir Brentford and Arteta not only adds substance to his steam but also adds a key leader to his squad.
Last season he played 35 games for his team scoring 6 goals and 4 assists in the English Premier League and played 1 game in the Carabao cup scoring 1 goal.
He has also featured 35 times for the Danish national team since his debut in September 2020 with only 1 goal scored too.
The star started his career at Hamburger SV in 2012, moved to Brondby in August 2023, in 2018 he joined Italian side Fiorentina for €3.2m before lastly joining Brentford on 1st
July 2019.
