Arsenal Maintain unbeaten start

Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli scored in each half as Arsenal extended their perfect start to the season to five games with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa, piling more pressure on Villa boss Steven Gerrard.

Arsenal dominated the game in the first half with Jesus scoring for the Gunners at the half hour mark, after capitalizing on ex-goalkeeper Martinez’s error on goal.

Aston Villa however, managed to pull a goal back with substitute Douglas Luiz netting from a corner strike in the 74th minute, seconds after coming on.

Mikel Arteta’s side nailed their final goal through Martinelli after a well worked counter attack paid off to seal the Gunners 100% start to the season.

Arsenal, they go to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United where they will be aiming to back up this impressive start with a statement result against a big-six rival.
