Group E saw similar excitement, with Namibia pulling off a stunning 1-0 upset against Tunisia courtesy of Deon Hotto's 89th-minute strike, assisted by Bethuel Muzeu.
Mali flexed their muscles in the second half, downing South Africa 2-0 with goals from Hamari Traore and Lassine Sinayoko, putting them level with Namibia at the top of the group with 3 points each.
