AC Milan Reach Agreement To Sign Christopher Nkunku From Chelsea

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign French forward Christopher Nkunku in a deal valued at around €42 million. The transfer is understood to be permanent and includes a sell-on clause, ensuring Chelsea retain a financial stake in any future move involving the 27-year-old.

Nkunku, who joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig last year, has struggled with injuries that limited his impact in the Premier League. Despite showing flashes of his attacking quality, the Blues have opted to sanction his sale as they continue reshaping their squad under financial and strategic considerations.

The France international has already been granted permission to travel to Italy, with personal terms agreed and a medical scheduled in the coming days. The move is expected to be finalized before the transfer window closes, providing Milan with much-needed depth and creativity in attack.

For Milan, Nkunku’s arrival represents a statement signing as they aim to compete strongly in Serie A and Europe this season. Meanwhile, Chelsea will free up space on their wage bill as they target reinforcements, including Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, to bolster their attacking options.
