26 Million Enrolled in New Health Scheme, Says CS Duale

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has announced that 26 million Kenyans are now registered with the Social Health Authority (SHA).
Speaking in Nyandarua, CS Duale credited the success to ongoing reforms and a nationwide registration campaign.
The CS urged continued support for the initiative, stressing the importance of health scheme enrollment for accessing quality care.
He also revealed plans to upgrade Nyandarua's JM Kariuki Memorial Hospital to a Level-5 facility, which would allow for specialized medical services within the county.
Duale called on Kenyans to back the ongoing healthcare reforms and resist political interference.
