WhatsApp rolls out a feature that makes it easier to message yourself
WhatsApp is releasing a feature called “Message yourself “ that allows users on the app to send messages to their own account.
This feature is designed to create a personal notepad or reminders and to keep information easily accessible.
After test reports done by beta testers, WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo confirmed that the new messaging feature rollout will be available to all iPhone and Android users globally in coming weeks. This was announced on Monday by the Meta-owned instant messaging app. Moreover, iPhone and Android users will be able to download free casino slot games play offline with the help of their devices, isn't it cool?
The feature can be used by tapping the “Create New Chat” icon on WhatsApp. Users will then see their contact at the top of the contact list.
By tapping the contact, the user will be taken to the chat screen where they can use to send messages to themselves.
Like regular chats, users can pin their chats to the top of the conversation list for easier access if there are many chats lists.
Some of the users however already could send themselves messages by using the app’s “click to chat” feature.
Telegram has had similar features for some time now. The feature is called 'Saved Messages'. It is used as a bookmark for messages, notes, and links that can be accessed later from the top of the chats screen.
