Water Shortage To Hit Parts Of Nairobi

A section of Nairobi residents will go without water starting tomorrow 14th April 6 am to Friday 15th April 6 am, which will enable the interconnection of new and old water pipes

"The exercise will be conducted along Uhuru Highway between Hailey Sellasie Avenue and University Way junctions with Uhuru Highway to enable the release of the road corridor to the Expressway contractor," read the statement.

The following areas will be affected Ngara, Parklands, areas along Limuru road, Aghakan  Hospital, UoN Parklands law campus, and Mombasa road including South B and South C. University of Nairobi Main Campus, Coca-cola Factory, JKIA, EPZ- Athi River, and the whole Industrial Area are among the estates that will experience dry taps, also areas along Jogoo Road which includes City Stadium, Maringo, Bahati, Buruburu, and the surrounding estate.

Residents have been urged to use water sparingly during the operation.
