Manchester City have agreed a deal with Nottingham Forest to sign England midfielder Elliot Anderson for a guaranteed £116 million, with the transfer now entering its final stages. The agreement follows extensive negotiations between the two Premier League clubs and is expected to be completed once the player undergoes a medical and signs the necessary paperwork.
The 23-year-old informed Nottingham Forest on Thursday that he wanted to leave the club and complete the move to the Etihad Stadium. Sources close to the negotiations indicate that Anderson made it clear Manchester City was his preferred destination after the clubs reached an agreement on the transfer fee.
Anderson is currently with the England national team in the United States for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
