King Kaka And Nana Owiti Announce Separation, Ask For Privacy
Celebrated Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima, alias King Kaka, on Tuesday announced that his marriage with Carter Ninifelly Owiti, alias Nana Owiti, had come to an end.
In a statement shared on his social media accounts, Ombima explained that it was not an easy decision to come by.
"We honestly never thought we would one day write a statement like this, but life happens." After much reflection and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship," the statement read.
According to the rapper, the 13-year-old relationship has created countless memories, which they will live to recount.
"Over the course of 13 years, we have shared countless memories, built a life together, and most importantly, raised three incredible children who will always be our top priority," the statement read.
He further urged their fans to respect the decision as well as privacy, considering the fact that they are public figures.
"This decision was not made lightly, and we remain deeply committed to maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship as we move forward separately, he wrote.
