Kenyatta University's Blak Blad have set their target on reaching the Kenya cup play offs this season as they look to go one better from the previous season when they finished sixth on the table.

Blak Blad are hosting rivals Mean Machine and will hope to gain maximum points from Mean Machine who have won only one match against struggling MMUST RFC.

Blak Blad Chairman William Moto has exuded confidence saying they are ready for the university derby and are sure of the play-offs.

"This weekend we are playing UON (Mean Machine) who have just one win against MMUST and I know it will be a tough game but as we prepare to host them the boys know what is expected of them. We are ready for them and we want to make it for the play odds,” Moto said.

He however urged caution from his charges saying they will need to win all their remaining matches in order to guarantee that.

Fixtures are coming in thick and fast this weekend with Strathmore Leos hosting Menengai Oilers at their Madaraka home ground.

Defending champions Kabras Sugar will play Mwamba RFC at the Impala club grounds here in Nairobi as league leaders KCB take on Catholic Monks at the KCB Sports Club.

Homeboyz will hope to put aside their last weekend's disappointment against Kabras as they face MMUST at Jamhuri Park. Nakuru RFC will play Kenya Harlequins at their Nakuru Athletic club backyard.
