Deputy President William Ruto during the presidential debate blamed the handshake for the government failure, claiming that the Jubilee Government lost track once President Uhuru and Raila shook hands, blaming the ongoing security crisis in some counties on the same.

He further added, saying he believes he has discharged his responsibilities as Deputy President to the best of his ability during his ten years term as the second in command.

DP Ruto said, if elected, Kenya Kwanza will reduce the cost of living, and provide employment for the youth saying millions of young people are blacklisted in CRB and can’t access credit to do business.

He further said they will improve access to health care and water as well as improve education standards in the Country.

DP Ruto said he isn’t a coward and has always taken firm positions in the Cabinet and in public saying every contract signed by the Govt of Kenya should be public.
