Manchester United bounced back to winning ways in sterling fashion, as they overpowered Liverpool FC winning 2-1 at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Erik Ten Hag men dominated both halves of the game scoring in each half, courtesy of Jadon Sancho in the 16th minute and Marcus Rashford in the 53rd minute.
Despite Liverpool pulling a goal back through Mohammed Salah ten minutes to the end of the game, United earned a first league win over their bitter rivals since March 2018 and Erik ten Hag’s first Premier League win as United manager.
The red devils were coming off a week of intense criticism after their 4-0 embarrassment at Brentford last weekend, but responded positively to move past Liverpool in the League table.
