Manchester City completed a dominating 4-1 aggregate win over Bayern Munich, further progressing to the Champions League Semi-Finals for the third season running.

Pep Guardiola’s side had an emphatic First leg of the Quarter-finals getting a 3-0 advantage at home and it was Erling Haaland’s 48th goal of the season past Tuchel’s resilient Bayern outfit that was enough to go through.

The Norwegian capitalised on a quick Counter attack to give his side the lead but Bayern skipper Kimmich converted a controversial spot kick to level the score line for Bayern Munich in their second encounter.

Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel felt his side needed a miracle to go through after losing the first leg but they squandered plenty of opportunities to get back into the game.

The German machines continued to raise eyebrows with just two wins in six games, including Champions League and German Cup exits, many wondering if dismissing last season’s Bundesliga boss Julian Nagelsmann was the right call.

The current Bundelsiga champions are equally feeling the pressure in their domestic league, with two points ahead of Borussia Dortmund with six games to go.

Injuries and defensive woes continue to rock the League leaders not forgetting their big summer signing Mane failing to impress since joining from Liverpool, having to rely more on ex-Stoke striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and youngster Musiala.
